I have been to the Fassifern Sports Club a few times for tea and would recommend the club to everyone. A place for the kids to play and the meals were excellent and the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great. Had a great time.
I visited here on the weekend from Brisbane and the food was divine. The food matches anything that I have had in Brisbane. Staff was friendly, beer at really great prices.The family usually visits Boonah frequently and we definitely will be back.
The food, and the ambience at this place go together - the sort you would expect at a truck stop. Nobody seemed interested in taking our order. We won't be back.
My wife and I often pass through Beautiful Boonah. We recently heard all this hype about the new and improved sports club so we though we would give it a go. Sadly we will not be returning- staff/service was not very welcoming and the food was below average, dry and bland. Maybe need more time to go over and improve quality and service
Well, what can I say. A Bowls Club by any other name is still a bowls club. Having heard the hype about the re-branding of the bowls club I thought I'd pop in to see what had changed from the Boonah bowls club of old. Sadly - if anything - it's gone backwards. The service was terrible, the food was the sort that you expect at a truck stop, and there were kids running around everywhere. There are many places in town that serve decent food and have a great atmosphere, so I won't be coming back to this place.
